When only paper plans of the property are available, these can be adapted for use in the report (scanning and digitally cleaning the drawings to remove blemishes and unwanted symbols).
Where electronic versions of drawings are available (CAD), these can be adapted directly into the asbestos registers. If no drawings are available, buildings can be measured by laser and CAD drawings produced.
Samples where no asbestos is detected are marked in GREEN and samples where asbestos is detected are mark in RED. In this way, the resulting drawing gives an 'at a glance' view of which items of asbestos material are located where - all cross referenced by 'sample numbers', to the Risk Assessments and photographs of the location involved.
